In the farmhouse of a steel businessman in Maharashtra (Maharashtra IT Raid), a mountain of rupees has risen, gold and diamonds are huge.
IT department raid: 390 crore assets seized
Maharashtra IT Raid: On the one hand, ED is calling for raids across the country, now the Income Tax Department is also taking action. After Bengal, a big red of IT department is going on in Maharashtra. A joint raid has been conducted on the premises of a steel, textile and real estate businessman in Maharashtra's Jalna in which assets worth around Rs 390 crore have been seized, including Rs 58 crore in cash, 32 kg of gold-diamonds and property.
120 vehicles, 260 officers... 13 hours were counted. It took 13 hours
for the employees to count such a large amount of cash in Red and counting the notes and this action has been taken from 1st to 8th August. A total of 260 officers were involved in the raid and more than 120 vehicles were used.
The treasure was in the farm house.
It is to be noted that the Income Tax Department was informed that some irregularities were going on in the steel company after which these actions were taken. First the house and office were raided but nothing was found there, when the farm house was checked outside the city, as if it were a treasure, assets worth 390 crore rupees were found.
