Salary / Pay Scale / Allowances :
During the original training period, a paycheck of Rs. 14,600/- per month will be permissible. On successful completion of original training, they will be placed in Level 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix(Rs 21,700-Rs-43,100). In an addition, they will be paid MSP @ ₹ 5200/- per month plus DA (as applicable).

Medical examination will be conducted by authorised military doctors
as per medical standard specified in current regulations applicable to mariners on entry. minimal height 157 cms. Weight and casket should be commensurate. minimal casket expansion of 5 cms.
Good internal, medical and physical health free from any complaint/ disability, likely to intrude with effective performance of duties. Colour perception CP II.
No Cardio- vascular complaint, surgical scars like knock knee, flat bases etc. Infection of cognizance, no history of fits or psychiatric disease, vericose tone, corrective surgery for eye sight etc.
Medical merit should be as per the detailed guidelines an issued by IHQ MoD( Navy) in NO (Spl) 01/2008.
Candidatesare advised to get their cognizance gutted for wax and tartar removed from teeth previous to examination.
